I think we should continue last year's Happy/Crappy challenge from Meredith. We are starting some wonderful family traditions and this was one of my favorites. Who goes first?
Ooh...I totally forgot about happy/crappy. The rules are easy. Say one happy thing that happened this year and one crappy thing. You can give more than one happy but only one crappy. That's it.
My happy - Marc's team made the playoffs (first time in about 15 years in Big Spring for boys' bball to make playoffs!) and it was such a treat to see Carly in the Nutcracker, and this makes one year that I have been jogging consistently, and Conrad is a sweetheart. I love my family. My crappy - we really hoped to get our kids in a better school district and it just isn't working out. Patience isn't my thing.
Looking back over the past 12 months, we have been blessed. Bryon got a rockin' work truck (hello, gas card!), Shelby made it a whole year without too many bruises, and I've gained a baby bump.
As far as crappy goes, I think not having my plans line up with God's plans has been the hardest. Certain people didn't get the jobs they wanted so badly, and it was hard for me to understand. I keep telling myself that one of these days it will all make sense...
I'm so blessed - healthy, happy kids and grandkids, a good job, a good husband, love our church, our dog, etc. And, WE HAVE AIR CONDITIONING! God is good, all the time.
Crappy is sometimes wishing we had lifelong friends closeby and wishing M&M were closeby too!

My happy - I got a new job in March that I LOVE at YWCA writing grants. We got a dog, and we bought a house!
My crappy - Not seeing all of the clients at my old job anymore...they were best.
